Dermal Fillers
Enhance your natural beauty & restore the youthful vibrancy of your appearance!

What are Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers are naturally-derived injectable facial fillers. These injections improve the volume loss that occurs in our faces as we age, providing a decrease in fine lines and wrinkles, and restoring the plumpness of thin lips.

What Fillers Do

As we reach our thirties we lose about 1% of collagen per year, making our skin thinner and less elastic. Fillers can help replace that collagen look with a more youthful vibrant appearance by giving you:

  • Fuller Lips

  • Smooth Fine Lines & Wrinkles

  • Add Volume to Cheekbones

  • Enhance Natural Features

  • Restore Youthful Appearance

Smile/Nasolabial Folds Marionette Lines

The lines that run from the nose to the mouth are known as nasolabial folds. These lines tend to develop as the area’s skeletal and fat structures alter. Nasolabial creases can also form as a result of frequent facial expressions, decreased collagen formation, and fat breakdown.

Marionette lines are creases that appear on the face as a result of normal aging. These are straight lines that form between the lips and the chin, which cause sagging in the lower part of the face. Because the skin around your lips is thinner than the remainder of your face, it is more prone to wrinkles.

Muscle fatigue, gravity, and the depressor muscles at the edges of your mouth are the three main elements that contribute to marionette folds and lines.  Gravity has an impact on your face every day.  Part of the aging process causes your cheekbones and face to begin to slide downward and inward over time, resulting in nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

Volume loss is the second most common cause of marionette lines and folds. It can be the soft tissue volume decrease, in which fat skin gets lighter, or the loss of bone volume.

The persistent activation of the depressor muscles in your mouth corners is the final factor that contributes to the development of these lines and folds. When this muscle is repeatedly stimulated, it gives the appearance of a sad face. Many people unwittingly utilize this muscle, which causes their mouth edges to drop down.

Nasolabial Folds & Marionette Lines Treatment

Some people opt to get rid of these lines if they are particularly prominent due to aesthetic concerns.

The presence of these folds and lines can be reduced or eliminated with some cosmetic techniques, including dermal fillers.
